Higher-risk Asbestos

The removal of higher-risk asbestos containing materials including sprayed asbestos coatings, asbestos insulation, asbestos lagging and asbestos insulating board (AIB) should only be undertaken by a licenced asbestos removal contractor such as Suffolk Asbestos Solutions. Prior to any licenced asbestos removal works, an ASB5 Notification of Asbestos Work must be completed and received by the HSE 14 days before the asbestos work is due to begin.

Licensing & Training

The nature of this work requires licensing from the Health and Safety Executive. Suffolk Asbestos Solutions is licensed by the HSE, as well as full insurance to undertake all levels of licensed asbestos removal work.


Our staff are fully trained and qualified in the safe handling of asbestos containing materials, and as a fully licenced asbestos removal contractor, all works are conducted in accordance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, and HSE Guidelines.
